Azima Expands Services with Acquisitions

Acquisition of two leading analysis firms expands Azima's services to include infrared thermography, motor testing, lubricant analysis, and reciprocating engine and compressor analysis.

WOBURN, MA - August 15, 2007 - Azima Holdings Inc. announces the acquisition of two New Orleans-based analysis companies, expanding its monitoring and diagnostics service and gaining a leading presence in the oil and gas industries.

Azima is acquiring the services business of Measurements, LLC and Emspec, Inc. The acquisitions will enable Azima to offer customers a comprehensive package of predictive maintenance services. Measurements brings significant expertise in vibration analysis, infrared thermography, advanced electric motor testing, and oil analysis. Emspec is one of North America's leading experts in reciprocating engine and compressor monitoring.

"We are delighted to welcome Measurements and Emspec as Azima Service companies," said Azima CEO Jonathan Hakim. "They expand our geographic reach and serve many of the world's largest oil and gas companies. Their experience in the field, combined with our world-class vibration experts and advanced Web-based technology, will benefit existing customers of all three companies and be an incentive for new customers to come on board."

The acquisitions give Azima presence in Louisiana, South Carolina, Georgia, and Texas. Azima, which is headquartered in Massachusetts, already has offices in Indiana, Alabama and Tennessee. This is the second and third acquisition for Azima, which acquired CJ Analytical Engineering, an Indiana-based vibration monitoring company, in 2005.

Measurements President Carl Eyman and Emspec President Steve Short will join Azima's management team as a Vice President and Director, respectively.

"Measurements' onshore and offshore customers will continue to receive the high level of service they are used to, plus they will be able to access critical information about their equipment via Azima's unique Reliability Portal," said Mr. Eyman. "There is nothing like this on the market today—Azima's technology platform not only delivers critical information to the customer, but enables triggering, analysis, and other diagnostics to be done remotely by skilled analysts."

Measurements and Emspec customers will also benefit from Azima's wireless, remote monitoring expertise. "We look forward to applying Azima's wireless technologies to our reciprocating applications" says Mr. Short. "This is truly a win-win situation for all our customers."

The products business of Measurements is being transferred to a new company, Reliability Point LLC, headquartered in Zachary LA. Reliability Point will act as a sales partner for Azima in major markets throughout the southern United States.
